Pornhub’s New Strip Poker Website Takes Care Of All Your Vices At Once

Our friend’s table section includes those that only people in your friends list can access.

Price doesn’t seem concerned.

“Companies that add new, novel, or distinct services or products can get in the crosshairs of regulators,” Perry said.

However, Kostin sees one big problem for the consumer.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for us to enter an industry that is experiencing exponential growth and we’re excited to make our mark.”

The carnal-themed casino’s focus is getting members to spend their wad rather than blow it, but there are some allusions to Pornhub’s main business.

Most of the croupiers are Costa Rica women, but occasionally well-known porn stars like Monique Alexander or Dani Daniels are expected to fly down and work the roulette wheel or blackjack tables.

The croupiers occasionally flash their breasts to players who ask nicely through a chat box. So yes, people who play will be visible.”

On Monday, officially opened the aptly named Pornhub Casino, an online gambling casino where participants can play roulette, Blackjack and even strip poker.

“From my personal players’ perspective, I can say that it might be tough to focus on a roulette strategy while live dealers are taking their bras off,” he said.

“It’s available in two options: public tables and friend’s tables,” Price said. “Our public tables are viewable by all players and anyone can join. “We decided to take a gamble –pun intended — and go ahead with the idea.”

The idea of combining sex and gambling is a long time coming for Pornhub, according to vice president Corey Price.

. “They will likely face regulatory scrutiny and should have very strong know your customer policies.”

However, the connection to porn might arouse the attention of regulators.

“The timing for this is perfect,” he said. Also, a win on the online slot machine results in a quick scene from an adult movie.

Alexander Kostin, of, an organization that advocates for transparency in the gambling, says Pornhub’s plan is “a really smart attempt to prohibit its core audience from leaving the site after they have accomplished their sexual goal.”

A popular porn portal is thrusting into a new venture — online gambling.

Can an online casino cum porn website work? Braden Perry, an attorney familiar with the regulatory procedures governing online gambling, says there’s nothing inherently illegal about the Pornhub Casino business model.

“We use webcams so everyone can see each other and speak to one another as though you would in a real setting. “At Pornhub we are constantly looking at ways to penetrate additional industries, grow our global community and expand our brand recognition.

The Huffington Post attempted to play strip poker, but a spokesman said the company is in the process of hiring more dealers for that particular game.

One of the selling points the casino is using to attract players is the online video strip poker.

“Our users know a thing or two about having a good time online, so when a casino company approached us with an opportunity to blend gambling with porn, we had to consider it seriously,” he said by email

New Jersey takes sports betting argument to full appeals court | Reuters

sports betting in 1992 in all but four states, particularly Nevada.

New Jersey tried to allow sports wagering in 2014 by repealing a prohibition against it at casinos and racetracks. But with New Jersey’s eroded casino industry and sluggish economy, the state first allowed sports betting in 2012 until it was stymied by the Third Circuit. It continues to try, fighting the legal battle while other states watch.

What matters is “what is the law that’s left after the partial repeal,” which in this case “clearly authorizes” sports betting, he said.

“There would be bookies on the boardwalk,” he said.

(Reporting by Hilary Russ; Editing by Alan Crosby)

To avoid that, New Jersey’s latest law hinted at some kind of oversight because casinos are licensed and regulated. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Philadelphia was before 12 judges who agreed to re-hear New Jersey’s appeal after a three-judge panel previously sided with the sports leagues.

Federal demands on states “are both commonplace and constitutional,” he said. government argued that New Jersey’s strategy is tantamount to authorizing the activity in particular locations.

Just over two weeks ago, Americans placed an estimated $4.1 billion of illegal bets on the National Football League championship, Super Bowl 50, according to the American Gaming Association.. But that is further proof that the scheme is tantamount to authorization and violates the federal ban, he argued.

PHILADELPHIA Federal appeals judges on Wednesday scrutinized New Jersey’s 2014 law allowing sports betting, peppering lawyers during oral arguments with questions about the state’s latest attempt to legalize the activity by partially repealing a prohibition against it.

“At some point a partial repeal is so specific that it is really authorizing,” said Judge Kent Jordan, asking Theodore Olson, who represented New Jersey, to grapple with the issue.

Paul Fishman, U.S. Supreme Court to consider the case.

“What we have here is a vague, micromanaged tinkering” of the state’s ability to make its own regulations, Olson said.

Congress banned legalized U.S.

Olson argued that Congress is not allowed to commandeer a state’s regulatory powers.

But the only such commandeering cases to pass muster involved states that were forced to take immediate action to comply with Congress’ mandate, said Paul Clement, arguing for the leagues.

They and the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, warned that the wrong kind of partial repeal could be problematic.

Whichever side loses is likely to ask the U.S. The National Collegiate Athletics Association and professional sports leagues sued the state.

NBA Referee Accused Of Betting On Games

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

“You have a lot of acquaintances and very few friends. Before becoming a referee, Donaghy played varsity basketball at Villanova University.

Over the years it has been a mortal fear of all leagues that the guardians of their game would be somehow touched by scandal, reports CBS News chief investigative correspondent Armen Keteyian.

Benson said he didn’t work with Donaghy much.

According to a law enforcement official, authorities are examining whether the referee made calls to affect the point spread in games on which he or associates had wagered.

“If these allegations are true, it just cuts to the heart of the integrity of the sport,” says basketball analyst Len Elmore.

. “Those are people that you work with and that you literally — you spend more time with those people than you do with your family.”

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Donaghy officiated 68 games in the 2005-06 season and 63 games in 2006-07. I probably worked a handful of games with him overall, just a handful.”

The investigation first was reported Friday by the New York Post.

The referee had a gambling problem, according to the official, and was approached by low-level mob associates through an acquaintance.

“I’m shocked, terribly shocked,” said Gary Benson, an NBA official for 17 years who retired two years ago because of knee problems. Other arrests are expected, the official said.

The FBI is investigating allegations that veteran NBA referee Tim Donaghy bet on basketball games over the past two seasons, including ones in which he officiated.

Defense attorney John Lauro confirmed Donaghy is under investigation but refused to comment on the allegations or the case.

Although asked by the government not to comment, Stern said the naming of Donaghy prompted a fuller statement.

“We would like to assure our fans that no amount of effort, time or personnel is being spared to assist in this investigation, to bring to justice an individual who has betrayed the most sacred trust in professional sports, and to take the necessary steps to protect against this ever happening again.”

The law enforcement official, who spoke to the AP on Friday on condition of anonymity, said the referee was aware of the investigation and had made arrangements to surrender as early as next week to face charges. He also worked 20 playoff games, including five last season.

In all, Donaghy has officiated 704 regular season games and 15 playoff games, CBS News reports. He has seven years of CBA officiating experience including the 1993 CBA All-Star Game and five years of high school officiating experience in Pennsylvania. The official, who did not identify the referee, is familiar with the investigation but was not authorized to speak publicly about the ongoing investigation.

The law enforcement official said the bets involved thousands of dollars and were made on games during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons.

“As we previously stated, we have been cooperating with the FBI in their investigation of allegations that a single NBA referee bet on NBA games that he officiated,” commissioner David Stern said in a statement Friday afternoon.

The FBI probe, which began recently, also involves allegations that the referee had connections to organized crime associates. All Rights Reserved

Sports :: How to Win at Betting: Sports Gambling Winning Percentage, What You Need to Know

If somebody were to ask you if you would rather be a 60-percent handicapper or a 55-percent handicapper, which would you choose? The obvious answer is that it’s better to be a 60-percent handicapper, but that isn’t necessarily true.

The only statistic that sports bettors should be concerned with is units won, which is the amount of profit, or loss, they have over time, and not worry nearly as much about winning percentage. And as is the case with the Arkansas-based giant, many times this will be more profitable than being extremely selective and doing a small amount of volume, even if the mark-up is higher.

With baseball season coming back in about 4 months, many sports gamblers will be seeing ads from different sports services claiming winning percentages of 65-percent for baseball, and that’s entirely possibly, but what the services aren’t saying is that the majority of their selections were favorites of -200 or more, turning that 65-percent handicapping into a losing proposition.

Making it more difficult for sports bettors is that some sports services will claim to have won 200 units in a particular sport, but don’t mention that they release 10- or 20-unit plays, along with several 100-unit “locks” at the end of the year if things aren’t going so well and they need something to base next year’s advertising on.. A winning percentage of 55-percent sure doesn’t sound as sexy as a 60-percent handicapper, but if your volume of plays is high enough, it can certainly be much more profitable.

The 55-percent handicapper is using what is commonly referred to as the Wal-Mart Approach, which is to have a lot of volume with the expectation of grinding out a small profit. At the end of the month, the 55-percent handicapper would have gone 83-67 for a gain of 9.3 units, while the 60-percent handicapper would have gone 18-12 for a profit of 4.8 units, so the 55-percent handicapper has made nearly twice as much.

For the bettors that do their own handicapping, however, units won is really the only thing you should be concerned with, as that ultimately is going to translate into the bottom line. In the question above, it would be much better to be a 55-percent handicapper if you were playing 150 games a month, as opposed to a 60-percent handicapper playing one game a day

Any Given Sunday – CBS News

The charges raised some tough questions: Can the government dictate what’s legal or otherwise on the Internet?

“The Department of Justice in Washington, their spokesperson was widely quoted as saying, ‘It doesn’t take place on US soil. It makes about a 5 percent profit on the total take.

“Last time I wore a tie was probably about four years ago on the stock exchange,” says Schillinger. They won’t discuss numbers, but admit World Sports makes multi-millions. It’s out of our jurisdiction. “You know, allowing a customer to deposit money and take long shots by buying penny stocks. But his lawyer, Ben Brafman, says the law that convicted him is just plain out of date.

“What they’re doing is they’re telling Antigua, which is a sovereign nation, ‘You can’t do this,’” says Brafman. No different than the way people bet on stocks with options. I mean, if you go to our Web site and you change Boston Red Sox to Boston Market, we’re Ameritrade, like that.”

It’s just like the stock market, without the fancy address and the pretension.

Located on the second floor of a strip mall in Antigua, just a few dozen computers and some computer-savvy Antiguans take in the bets.

In the past, bettors might have sought out a local bookie to place their bets.

And he hasn’t missed any golf dates, either. And Cohen and his partners make no apologies for making an end run around U.S. The largest of the nearly 1,000 Internet gambling sites, which combined, is projected to be a $10 billion industry. The Internet isn’t owned by anyone. He was a successful trader on an equally big bingo game, the San Francisco Stock Exchange, when he and his partners realized how popular their own office pool was. So we stayed to keep it running.”

“It would be nice to have freedom to come and go, you know, back to the United States.

It’s as if the networks broadcast a weekly bingo bonanza. When the Wire Act was passed and written, the Internet was not even conceived of,” he says. Correspondent Morley Safer reports.

It’s not just the quarterbacks who take the hits on Sunday and Monday. It’s not going to work by trying to enforce it offshore.”

The World Sports partners, who’d broken no laws in Antigua, were now accused criminals in the United States. Their old colleagues may be green with envy, while they just count the green.

With the football season just starting, chances are you were watching a game this afternoon. It’s on an island in the sun – Antigua, the small island nation in the Caribbean where gambling on sports is perfectly legal. So Cohen decided to test the American law and announced he was coming home. “I thought by being totally offshore, we were out of the jurisdiction of the U.S.”

Kyl wants to pass an even tougher law called the Internet Gambling Prohibition Act, specifically designed to update the Wire Act to put World Sports and others out of business.

Brafman and others believe the U.S. “I’ll just have to choose not to return to the US, which is a tough decision, but I’ve made that decision.”

Well, it’s simple. Countless Americans lose big bucks when they fail to beat the point spread. In sentencing him to 21 months in prison, the judge did recognize some of the weaknesses in the government’s case. He was convicted on eight counts. His appeal is expected to be heard next year. He has six months left to serve. has no business dictating what’s legal in Antigua or on the Internet.

It’s a lot more reliable than your local bookie and a lot cheaper than flying to Vegas. I’m not a criminal to my family. a point spread,” says Cohen.

“We thought it was a good opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new industry that was just about to take off,” says Cohen. We were a foreign company licensed to do what we were doing,” says Cohen. If you lose, you lose.

And there aren’t enough cops to do that, he says. Every diversion from the workaday screen is easily available. His two partners remained behind. And chances are you had something riding on the game.

Betting on football is more of an American pastime than the sport itself. We checked with lawyers. government.

But Cohen disagrees: “If he really wants to talk about what makes it easier for compulsive gamblers to get in trouble, walk into a casino.”

The World Sports Web site is simply a high-tech bookie. “Football is king.”

“We thought we set it up totally legally.

Brafman says going after Web sites like World Sports will never work: “The only way you’re going to enforce it is if you penalize the citizens who access the Internet for those purposes. On the 26th floor, we were being prosecuted for being involved in a gambling business.”

“You can’t go offshore and hide. “The law prohibits him from placing a sports bet, either electronically through a telephone or electronically through a computer. The net result is the same. “In the courthouse we were prosecuted in, you could buy a lottery ticket in the newsstand on the ground floor. The business is fantastic,” says Schillinger. If you win, World Sports credits your account. As for his partners, they are still trapped in paradise, where business is better than ever.

Cohen and his lawyer also point out other hypocrisies in the government’s efforts to put World Sports out of business. “And if the people who do it happen to be Americans, they’re going to prosecute them. Four years ago, the federal government filed criminal charges against the three partners under a 1960s law, the Wire Communications Act, prohibiting the use of telephone wires for purposes of gambling – a law that did not envision cyberspace. But now we’re starting to enjoy the life here,” adds Schillinger. They say the biggest rip-off in gambling is perfectly legal – the state-run lotteries.

In fact, theirs is one of the few Internet companies that actually shows a profit. You can’t go online and hide,” said former attorney general Janet Reno, talking tough on the subject of offshore, online gambling. So it was a natural segue.”

“And the odds of winning are so remote that it’s almost highway robbery, and the government benefits from it,” says Brafman. He says that the U.S. But if you’re going to be trapped somewhere, it’s not a bad place to be trapped.”

Sundays may be hectic at World sports, but casual is the order of every day.

They say that since the bets are not taking place in the United States, but on the company’s computers in Antigua, they are perfectly legal. To place a bet, you simply log on, establish an account with a credit card and make your choices. But Jay Cohen thought he’d found a way around the law.

“We’re real happy down here. He believes the Internet could lead to a national gambling addiction.

Cohen and two friends from the stock exchange, Haden Ware and Steve Schillinger, established their company as a foreign corporation, paid the Antiguan government a licensing fee and set up shop. We’re licensed and regulated by them to do what we do, and we follow their regulations,” says Ware. So 60 Minutes talked to Senator John Kyl of Arizona, who supports outlawing all Internet gambling.

“Mr. Well, the jury convicted him, and so presumably, the test is answered,” says Kyl. “It’s either going to be with a legitimate business like ours or it’s going to go underground to the bookies and the bars. Cohen’s attorney said that this should be a test case. I’m not a criminal to my peers. Millions of Americans bet hundreds of millions of dollars on any given Sunday.

“We have taken the position from the beginning that the Wire Act does not apply to Internet gambling. World Sports isn’t in the United States. “It’s very similar to the options business. Supreme Court will probably decide the Cohen case. So they decided to expand worldwide on the Web.

On any given Sunday during football season, World Sports will get in the neighborhood of 20,000 bets, ranging from $10 a pop to $20,000.

So what are these two poor little rich men to do? They’re like a couple of survivors of one of those castaway game shows, where they won every prize except the big one – a ticket home.

“I look at my job as being very similar to what some guy’s doing right now at a day trader account,” adds Ware.

Beyond saying the government will vigorously prosecute offshore gambling, the U.S. law. As for his partners, they dare not return to the United States.

“If he loses the appeal, I’ll stay in Antigua, keep the business going. They even took bets on who might be booted out of “Big Brother.”

But Cohen has little to celebrate. attorney would not comment on the case. They are considered fugitives from American justice, subject to arrest if they return.

Cohen is the founder of World Sports Exchange, the Internet’s most popular and profitable online gambling site. “So in Antigua, I’m not a criminal. And if one jurisdiction begins to take possession of the Internet, if you will, you think about the ramifications, it’s kind of scary.

Life is good in Antigua. And that’s the kind of number that tweaks the curiosity of the U.S. International offshore wagering – there’s nothing we can do about.’ So it definitely represented a change in the Department of Justice’s position on the matter,” says Cohen.

“Ninety percent of our business is what’s called traditional wagering, where people bet on the outcome of a game vs. Almost $400 billion a year is bet on sports, most of it perfectly illegal. When we first came down, it was work, you know, 20 hours a day. “Haven’t worn socks too much since I’ve been in the Caribbean.”

The NFL may be king, but World Sports offers a complete menu: professional sports, college sports, baseball, horse racing, soccer and tennis. People are always going to bet on the football games and the Super Bowl,” says Schillinger.

“It’s been real profitable so far,” says Schillinger. You’re placing a bet with a bookie.”

Since 60 Minutes aired this story, Jay Cohen lost his appeal and has been in prison for almost a year. Win or lose, World Sports wins.

“Gambling exists in the United States. But, as 60 Minutes learned when this story first ran two years ago, it is now possible to do it from the comfort of your home – where all you have to do is point and click. I’m only a criminal to a handful of fat cats in Washington.”

“I have no complaints,” says Ware. Cohen is out on bail pending his appeal. “The first year, we were about break even, and our business has been doubling every year, so it’s very profitable – more so than the stock exchange.”

Schillinger said Cohen went back to prove a point, but “we were not going to close up shop on something we really believed in with all our hearts. And we think this is a better way to do it.”

“Antigua doesn’t see us as criminals. Schillinger and Ware have been in Antigua for four sun-soaked years, about as different from the noisy desperation of the trading floor as you can imagine.

Brafman adds that the bets do not take place on the phone lines, but on the World Sports computer server in Antigua. But since sports bookmaking is illegal in this country in every state but Nevada, how do they stay in business?

How to Bet the Kentucky Derby: A Beginner’s Guide

Give that a good look to see who’s done well recently.

Look for a horse that has won most of his races by a good length. If your horse comes in any of those positions, you’ll get money.

If you’re sure you’ve got the winner and you only want to place a simple bet for him to come in first, go ahead and bet your money that way. The words “first, second, and third,” are replaced by “win, place, and show.” If you think your horse is pretty good but not going to come in first, you can bet that he will “place,” — that is, come in first or second. Saturday. You’re trying to hit the sweet spot: a horse with okay odds who you think has a shot at winning.

The favorite going into this weekend is California Chrome, with 5-2 odds. Say, “I’ll bet $2 on (horse’s name or number) to win.”

If you’re done with the beginner stage of betting, you can up your odds of winning by doing more complicated bets that yield bigger payouts: exactas, trifectas, and superfectas. For a superfecta you pick the top four finishers in the right order. Good luck racing fans!

You’ve got your mint julep and your fancy hat ready for the Kentucky Derby, but are you ready to place your bet on the horse you think will win?

Picking a Horse

There are 20 horses in the field for the Kentucky Derby, though as of now only 19 will be running Saturday (#11 Hopportunity was “scratched.”) All the horses are 3-year-old male thoroughbreds, which means they’re young horses with lots of talent that is still developing and not a ton of experience.

Many casual bettors will pick a horse based on name or looks, but there are better ways to judge the odds for whether a horse has a shot at winning. You can place your bet anytime up until about 20 minutes before the race goes off at 6:24 p.m. He’s dominated all the races he’s run so far and all eyes will be on him. It looks something like this: Vicar’s In Trouble (20-1).

Horses with a high first number (like 20-1 or 50-1) are considered unlikely to win the race. The Kentucky Derby is one and a quarter miles long, longer than any race these horses have run before, so the winner will need stamina.

Odds and Favorites

When you look at a race form there will be a number in parentheses after each horse’s name. If you’re in it for the thrill of victory alone (and not the money), he’s a good bet.

Betting on Your Picks: “I’ll take $2 to win on the four horse, please.”

In horse racing, you need to bet on what place the horse will come in. If you’re not going to be in Louisville for the big day, you can head to your local racetrack or off-track betting outlet and place a bet there.

Like all sports, horse racing has its own language that can be confusing to casual watchers. Conversely, betting on a horse with bad odds will pay out a lot of money if they do win. A horse that goes into the race with 50-1 odds but comes in first place will pay out the most money to the bettor. Each horse will have a record of recent races he’s run, what place he finished, and how far ahead of the other horses he was.

Here’s our guide to making sense of the Run for the Roses. What’s a superfecta anyway, and how do you bet one?

Now it’s off to the races. Horses with lower first number (10 and down) are considered top contenders.

Betting on a horse with good odds will not pay out much money if they win. Here’s a quick guide:

Exacta: You pick the two horses you think will come in first and second, in that order.

Trifecta: Pick the three horses you think will come in first, second, and third – in the right order.

Superfecta: You guessed it. Therefore, betting on him won’t yield a big payout. That number shows what the odds are that the horse will win. Or you can bet that he will “show,” — that is, come in first, second, or third. Like it’s name implies, the superfecta pays out big bucks if you manage to get it right.
