Bayern Munich under fire over Saudi Arabia trip | Reuters

There is no honour to have a friendly game in Riyadh when, so to speak, right next to the stadium the blogger Radawi is flogged 1,000 times and has his skin pulled off his back,” Mutlu told reporters.

Bayern, one of the richest clubs in the world, with a turnover of more than 500 million euros (383 million pounds), said the Saudi Arabia game was a sponsored event by one of its commercial partners while the Qatar trip offered perfect working conditions for the Bundesliga leaders.. Unnecessary. Qatar, which will stage the 2022 World Cup, has been under scrutiny over widespread reports of human rights violations against migrant workers building stadiums for the tournament.

“Sport has a strong voice but it does not use it at the points where it makes sense and can be helpful,” Social Democratic Party MP and head of the parliamentary committee on sport Dagmar Freitag told Sueddeutsche Zeitung on Tuesday.

“Footballers don’t have to be politicians but they should be aware of human rights conditions and could set examples.”

Bayern coach Pep Guardiola was also a vocal supporter of Qatar’s bid to land the 2022 World Cup.

The trip also caused consternation among some Bayern fans with one of them sharply criticising the club’s decision to train in the Gulf during the winter break.

The German champions, a leading global soccer brand, spent just over a week at a training camp in Qatar earlier this month before playing a friendly against Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia on Saturday and returning to Germany a day later.

The Greens spokesman for sports politics issues, Oezcan Mutlu MP, said Bayern should never have played the game in Saudi Arabia.

BERLIN Bayern Munich returned from a training camp in the Middle East to a barrage of criticism over a friendly played in Saudi Arabia, with some politicians and fans claiming the club had turned a blind eye to human rights violations.

“Even if Bayern does not determine the politics in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, its presence there legitimises it,” a Bayern member, signing under the Twitter handle @agitpopblog said in an open letter sent to club officials.

Bayern’s game in Saudi Arabia also coincided with the uproar over the flogging in the country of activist and blogger Raif Badawi.

“I find this behaviour shameful

Why You Should Change Your Perspective?

In order to be successful like Manchester United whether as a team or individual, you need to change your perspective whether it is just you or everyone else thinking negatively that you are going to fail and lose.

Author’s Bio:

Discover how a lazy unmotivated underachiever became a millionaire at just age 26 here.

In that very same year, they were a goal down in that memorable Champions League final against German club Bayern Munich played in Barcelona. Or he can strive harder and do better to win the championship again. At that same time, the UEFA president made his way down with the trophy, thinking that what he saw was a foregone conclusion.

It is this mentality that won them titles after titles. Or he can analyse either by himself or with the help of others he trust on why he lose and strive to do better by winning the championship. Because of the stadiums immense size, making his way down from the VIP stands to the field took exactly 3 minutes. It all depends on what they do after the competition that matters most.

Instead let them be a motivation to you to succeed.

Before the 90s, they only won the league title once in 1968. Of course their expectations will be high but do not let those overwhelm and pressurize you into not making mistakes. That explained why he remained in charge of the football club for so long.

With that said, champions are not just winners or losers but those who keep trying and improving.

Your rating: None Average: 3 (1 vote)

If you are a beaten finalist in any competiton, will you sink into depths of despair and yet telling everybody you are happy to be just in the final? Or will you change your perspective by thinking why you lose first and then ways to improve so that you can do better and win the trophy in the next competition? This is why you should do so.

A winner can celebrate and be complacent after the party, thinking the whole world is at his feet and he will be champion forever. And during this time, the president missed both crucial goals Manchester United scored to win the game. Of course it is easier to say than do but you need to overcome that one way or another.

Even in years which they never won, they ended up as runners up by fighting their rivals all the way to the title. Not just titles but FA Cups, Carling League Cups and UEFA Champions League which they won twice.

In any situation, whether people around you are supporting you or not, that is not important.

Take for example my favourite soccer team Manchester United. And in every competition, there will always be winners and losers. So much so that the trophy was decorated with the German club colored ribbons in the 89th minute. It is never easy to keep this motivation going as the path to success is always rocky and filled with hurdles and obstacles.

In life, there are always competitions whether in studies, work and play.

Despite winning numerous trophies, Sir Alex Freguson was still not satisfied and continued to motivate his team. . So it was hardly surprisingly when he arrived at the field, he was astonished to see the English players cheering while German players sank into despair at the referees final whistle. Because if you do, you will make mistakes. In 1993, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2009 and this year. But after the formation of English Premiership and stewardship of Sir Alex Freguson in instilling discipline and determination to win at all costs into his team, their players developed a strong willing mentality of playing and fighting for the whole 90 minutes and injury time whether the results are in their favour or not.

Their best achievement was in 1999 where they won all 3 major trophies as in league title, FA Cup and Champions League. But it is not impossible if you want success badly by doing everything possible to achieve it no matter how the great the odds are against you. What is important is what you do that will get them to support you.

Likewise a loser can be in total despair and keep thinking that the runners up is good enough for him. Throughout 90 minutes, they tried but the German defence stood firm and seemingly invulnerable despite launching wave after wave of attack in search for an equalizer.

Everybody in that Nou Camp stadium including the UEFA president thought that Bayern Munich was going to win. But know this, a winner cannot always be a winner forever and a loser cannot always be a loser forever

Tips And Tricks For Playing Better Soccer

You’ll be a better player once you’ve learned how to kick with either foot.

Practice soccer with those who are more experienced. There is quite a bit to kicking a ball and it’s not all about just trying to kick it far. Make low passes, whipping the ball when you need to pass because defenders are nearing. Association and quick, tight passes can help you confuse your opponent. Most players like to teach skills to other players. This will allow your abilities to become better honed so your skills can improve. If you aren’t 100% sure that you are able to pull something off, don’t try it until you’re on the roster.

Practicing shooting with your non-dominant foot. If you don’t know any experienced players, go to some local games and introduce yourself.

Watch the pros who share your position. Focus on the combined team effort and effectiveness of the pass to get through a tight field. Don’t hesitate to ask these players any questions you have so that you can learn from them. Much time is wasted by folks who shuffle the ball to their stronger foot, giving their opponents an opportunity to steal it. Get under the soccer ball when you kick it, and lean slightly backwards.. You may use a lofted ball if you need to pass long to someone far away.

If you’re trying to get into a soccer team, you have to do some of the moves you’ve practiced and don’t try to do anything you’re not that great at. Learn any signature moves your favorite professional player uses and start using them in your soccer game.

If your opponent is running a tight defense, triangulate to break through it. Always be willing to help out teammates who are in the same situation.

It is important that you are able to properly kick a soccer ball. Cleats for this type of soccer field are generally firm and cannot be removed. Grass games mean you need high-traction cleats. You can get cleats in a number of varieties that allow you to get good grip on the ground.

It is hard to keep control of lofted balls. Place your kick at the base of the ball so it goes higher in the air. By learning how you can imitate their techniques and strategies, you can become a great soccer player. Select the right shoe for the type of field on which you play

The owner of the Kitchener Rangers record for most goals in a single season belongs to Wayne Presley. Akeson was also awarded the Jim Mahon Trophy as the right winger with the highest offensive output, the Leo Lalonde Trophy as the top overage player and the William Hanley Trophy as the most sportsmanlike.

Bellows played 1188 games in the NHL from 1982-83 to 1998-99 with the North Stars, Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning, Anaheim Mighty Ducks and Washington Capitals. 1983-84 was the second of three seasons in the OHL for Presley. He never played a NHL game but did spend a few years of professional hockey in the IHL, ECHL and AHL. Presley was a second round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, 39th overall. In his rookie season he contributed 116 points, the current team record for most points by a first year man. It was the 84 assists that became the new standard for the Kitchener Rangers. Like Akeson, Presley was awarded the Jim Mahon Trophy as the top scoring right winger. In his second season with Kitchener, he played just 47 games but scored 45 goals and totaled 97 points. He began with the Rangers and was shipped to the Sault Ste.

It doesn’t happen often anymore, but an individual scoring record of an Ontario Hockey League team was broken in 2010-11. Dwight Foster led the league in scoring that year with 143 points and was awarded the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy
